SUMMARY:

ACD Systems is looking for a highly-motivated and skilled software developer to join the product development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team highly focused on building world class digital asset management software.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in the entire product life cycle by designing, developing and maintaining high quality software in a timely manner.
Analyze existing requirements for new products and enhancements, develop specification documents, produce designs and implement these designs into complete products.
Provide timely and accurate estimates and status updates for assigned tasks.
Thoroughly document changes and/or new features in a consistent and concise manner.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Fluent in C/C++.
Outstanding knowledge of and industry experience with MFC and Win32 API.
Strong background in OOD, design patterns, and multi-threaded programming.
Keen interest in usability design principals.
Experience with Digital Imaging Technologies is highly desired.
Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal).
Superb problem solving skills.
Detail oriented.
Self driven with a thirst for knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS:

B. Sc. degree in Computer Science
2 to 4 years of related work experience
